Gobblet blends memory, strategy, and stacking into an abstract showdown of wits. Each player controls 12 nesting pieces in three sizes and takes turns placing or moving them on a 4×4 grid. The goal is simple: line up four of your own pieces in a row—but watch out! Bigger pieces can gobble smaller ones, hiding them (and potential threats) from view.
What sets Gobblet apart is its memory mechanic: you must remember which pieces are hidden beneath others, because lifting the wrong one might reveal your opponent’s victory line. It’s a battle of foresight, bluffing, and board control.
